New Email Group!
To facilitate easy communication between Navigators and other Grasshoppers, and directly between members, your webmistress Stephanie Bensinger has created an email group.
Once members are signed up, any one of us will be able to send a message to grasshoppers@groups.io, and it will automagically be sent to everyone. It will also include a calendar which will send out notices of upcoming events, and polls that might be helpful for future decision-making.
An example of its usefulness is, Stephanie was looking for an empty seat to the Sebring fly-out, but the only way to get word to everyone would be to BCC every member’s email address. With this email group she could have sent one inquiry to grasshoppers@groups.io.
Note that this group is intended to be very low-traffic and limited to Grasshoppers’ concerns only. It will be closely monitored and moderated, and it will not blow up your inbox with spam. Our intention is to have you be pleased to see messages come from this group, as opposed to all the other junk we get in our inboxes!
The group is online now, but won’t officially be launched until after our next newsletter is distributed. In the meantime, if you’d like to get a head start, please send Stephanie a message with your email address by clicking here, and she will send you an invitation to join.
